Lectora corrent, gràcies! jo també acabo de visitar el teu blog i m'ha agradat molt..et seguiré visitant!

The DDT to which I referred was not the pesticide, but the name of a weekly comic (tebeo), as were comics also Pulgarcito, Tiovivo, Florita and TBO (from the latter, the name "tebeo" originated to call comics for children both in Catalan and Spanish).

I love to "read" you with the traductor and this time it failed just before the part where you talk of DDT:-) So I will read more later but you already have given me an idea for a post on my blog about the place where I used to live and my old school which I just took a photo of some weeks ago!
